Who we are
Kaweka Hospital was founded by a group of clinicians who saw the need to offer additional surgical procedures to the growing Hawke's Bay population.
Stage 1 of the facility is open and running four operating theatres, post-procedure recovery and overnight beds.
Stage 2, planned to open in December 2024 will have a 31 bed ward, specialist consulting rooms, a pharmacy and a cafe.

Kaweka Hospital has been established by Hawke’s Bay clinicians for the people of Hawke’s Bay. We are here to provide our community with more healthcare, which is delivered in a timely manner and is of the highest quality. We believe this will be achieved by having an empowered, happy team and we are excited to be working with a wide group of partner organisations and stakeholders to help make this happen.
