Your Stay with Us
Our aim is to keep you and your whānau informed through your surgical procedure to ensure your peace of mind.
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod
It is important that we continuously improve and provide a quality experience for your best health outcomes. We therefore encourage you and your loved ones and carers to provide us with feedback at any time by emailing feedback@kawekahealth.nz
We do have an online form we invite you to complete which can be used for any compliments, complaints, suggestions or general feedback. To do this, please click this link Feedback Form.
If we do not satisfactorily address your complaint you can contact a Nationwide Health and Disability Advocate on 0800 555 050 to discuss your complaint and the best way to resolve it, or go to the Advocacy Service website: www.advocacy.org.nz.
We are also interested in hearing about your surgical site and how it has healed after surgery. If you’re willing to tell us about it, you can complete our Surgical Site Infection Survey – even if it healed normally. Alternatively, you can email our Infection Prevention and Control team at IPC@kawekahealth.nz.
Kaweka Hospital has ten private overnight bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, your own entertainment system (see below) and our wonderful team to help make your recovery as comfortable easy as possible. To make your stay comfortable, we encourage you to bring any special blankets, pillows or one or two small personal items with you.
Every bedroom has in-room entertainment, a telephone and complimentary access to the internet.
Kaweka Hospital is committed to providing you and your whānau with access to interpreters and cultural support whenever you require it so that you can make your own decisions about your health care.
The bedside entertainment services at Kaweka Hospital give patients access to several entertainment options including digital television and internet access. One of your healthcare team will explain how to use it once you have been admitted.
Kaweka Hospital is committed to protecting your privacy.
